HOW TO REPRINT JAMB SLIP

Steps To Re-Print JAMB 2017 Exam Slip It is very easy to do that. Just follow the simple instructions below: 1. First, you go to the JAMB website @ https://jamb.org.ng 2. Login to your Jamb Profile by entering your email and Password. 3. You should look at the right corner of the page; there is a bold, green heading with words ‘Re-Print Your Slip’. Then click on it. 3. You should write your JAMB registration number in the provided space and then click ‘Re-Print’. 4. You will get the information of your exact date of the exam you’ve received; time and also venue will appear on the slip now. 5. You should now click to reprint the JAMB slip via your printer or just press ‘ctrl’ and then ‘P’ on your keyboard.

APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEIMAN AND HIS RUMOURED RELATIONSHIP WITH MISS STEPHANIE OTOBO

As regarding the speculations regarding the rumoured relationship between its general overseer and one miss stephanie Otobo, the Omega Fire Ministries, yesterday, denied that the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, had a hand in the arrest and detention of Miss Stephanie Otobo by the police last Friday. Apostle Suleiman in a statement signed, by his Communications Manager, Phrank Shaibu, in Abuja, also denied that there was a so-called “amorous relationship” between the said Miss Otobo and the General Overseer, including a promise to marry her. Apostle Suleiman Instead, the church stated that the lady was arrested by operatives acting on a tip off that she had repeatedly tried to blackmail the preacher, including demanding N500 million from him. The 2017 Grammy award winner on monday annouced that he will be donating a million dollars to public schools in Chicago. Chance the Rapper grew up in the west chattam neighborhood of Chicago Illinois. Chance the Rapper did this to intervene into Chicago Public Schools' funding crisis. Chance the Rapper a fter the anouncement presented the million dollars cheque to City schools and urging the Illinois state governor, Gov. Bruce Rauner to use his executive powerss as the State governor to help schools in chicago. Illinois has been without a budget for two years, the longest for any state in two centuries and this is a great reason for the crisis in the funding of public schools. GOOGLE REVEALS A NEW EDUCATIONAL CHROME BOOK

Google in a recent blog post celebrating the popularity of Chromebooks in Swedish schools, has announced a new Chrome OS laptop from HP: the Chromebook x360 11 G1 Education Edition. Thevpost did not specify the specs of the latest chromebook, but according to google, the device will be out for sale on the shelves in mid-April.  It’s a “rugged” convertible, with a front-facing camera designed to be used in tablet mode, USB-C charging, and an optional stylus — all features “designed for the specific needs of schools,” says Google. From this brief picture, it seems the G11 will follow in the footsteps of a pair of Chrome OS  laptops from Acer and Asus  that was announced earlier this year. They too were designed for use in the classroom, and share many of the same features of the new HP unit, including a rugged, easy-to-fix design that helps IT departments make repairs. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: SARAKI'S ADVICE TO NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES

Senate President Bukola Saraki has charged Nigerian Universities to imbibe the culture of community development as against the tradition running many programmes. Saraki gave the charge in a goodwill message at the 3rd Biennial Conference of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities in Abuja. Represented by Senator Jubril Barawo, Chairman, Senate Committee on Tertiary Education, the senate president recalled that in the past, Nigerian universities were known to have experts in certain programmes. He lamented however that this was no longer the case saying, “Today, it is a different scenario, as many Nigerian universities want to run all programmes from university teaching hospital to having a nuclear department.” He said the situation had led to the influx of unemployable graduates. “There is, therefore, the need for Nigerian universities to change from being conventional sources of graduates to becoming engines of community development. “Nigeria ne...

FEMALE GENITAL MULTILATION AND THE EGYPTIAN MEDICAL SCHOOLS

Although the argument of whether Female genital mutilation should be prohibited in Egypt has been a very lasting one laws have been enacted in a bid to curb the act, the Egyptian government however, have taken a greater step in  a bid to curb the age-old practice, Egyptian medical students are to study female genital mutilation as part of their training in a country where more than 80% of mutilations are believed to be conducted by medical workers. Egyptian authorities this month unveiled the plan to introduce the topic of female genital mutilation into the curricula of medical schools at state-run and private universities. Although outlawed in Egypt since 2008, female genital mutilation is still rife in the conservative country, mainly in the countryside.
